Wow! He was way ahead of his time! These old people in the audience don't correlate these impressions with someone who happens to be gay. Back then everyone wanted to put you in a box. People/other than the gays would use the term female impersonator associating straight men who stage acted. People know there was a difference between, cross dressing, drag, gay, trans gender. Times have sure changed!

I saw Jimmy perform in Dallas around '91. He is amazing live. Of course he was still doing Marilyn back then. I wish he hadn't stopped doing her, but I can understand him wanting to move on. God bless you Jimmy. I love you!
