Zombox : Preview 02

For those of you wondering why this preview of Zombox looks so different from the last one, it's because Zombox has been started over from scratch. It now features top-down gameplay and a whole new aesthetic. It is currently being developed for iOS and will eventually be released on the iPhone.

Check out this video demonstrating the ability to drive cars, as well as the ability of the player to destroy buildings.

I looked into Unity as well and it is not free, especially the mobile version of it. Also the UDK royalties are quite fair in my opinion plus you don't pay any royalties to them until your first 50K profit.

I've been using it since January to make a mobile game, it's pretty cool and I'm almost done with it. I've also been looking at Unity and I'm glad I made my choice.

I'm not trying to get you to switch but I just wanted to let you know what I thought. Best of luck and can't wait for more

@archerx15 Oh sorry, you're correct. For PC/Mac/web etc it's free, but the mobile version is $400.

Big change since the first video, I actually prefer this direction even though the zombies kinda look like minecraft creepers now. Why Unity over the unreal engine though also with those controls you should think about a mobile release.

@archerx15 Unity is free...unreal engine is only free until you make a profit...then you pay royalties. Also, it's being specifically developed for iOS.
