@AttiliusO4 That's a good attitude to have. I recently bought the PS1 version of Tomb Raider, as I already own the Japanese Saturn version, and while it had some nice touches, the pixelly grittiness and controls of the Saturn version still wins me over. I also hear the PAL Saturn version ran smoother as the game was developed in the PAL regions and not optimized for others. The NTSC versions had some issues with that. So your version probably looks a bit better.

What kind of concert harp has strings that poke way out?

@bowsercrushmario Um it would really be nice to see the video comparisons of the 1st tomb raider on ss and psx. Both pretty dated at this point. The resident evil for ss is jaggy over the the directors cut, but probably the same as the original scratched version on the psx.

@CaptainScarlet2006 No. There's a PS2, a Wii and a XBOX 360 version, too. But the pc version has the better graphics, so it's the most recommended. If you buy it through Steam, it costs ten bucks.

For computer only?

@MrGeo7k It's the other way around: developed begun on the Saturn, then ported to PS1 - although, in the end, the PS1 version was finished first and got an early release.
-
@CaptainScarlet2006 It was remade! It is called Tomb Raider Anniversary, and looks great! (I am playing it right now, just to compare it to my memories of the original game...) Look for the pc version, it is the best (Steam was selling it on a great discount during the summer sale).

@bowsercrushmario Look for a video on youtube called "Battle of the ports (Tomb Raider)", there the two versions are put side by side, and... Usually, the Saturn version looks better (longer draw distance, better water effects and better colors overall). But then, the PS1 version runs on a higher resolution (less "pixelized", as you said), so there's that.

I love this game .Like somebody said :i saw the cg of those days and can't wait to play games like those cg..jaja we are tons ahead now.
I still thinking on a remake of this first Tomb raider game .
can you download and burn games for the saturn?, will they work?(for anyone who tries to smartass on me)

@tmsods You can't. But there are mods & tricks to make backups working. Search on Google, you'll find what you're looking for. Anyway it's not a good thing for Saturn itself, so be quiet. It will be better whit his original games. :)

Sega version was rushed, and PS1 looks graphically better(most people say so anyway) :) The PC(DOS) version is pixelly, so PS1 was the superior version for the game. Either the recording software didn't record the sound good, or Youtube severely raped your sound >.> p.s. New layout ftl lol One big vertical mess :(

@bowsercrushmario Yeah, youtube messed up with the audio here. Anyway, I really can't choose the best version, and I actually don't mind. I simply want to enjoy my games, never mind on wich platform. In fact I own a PS2 as a GameCube and a PSP like a DS. XD I only miss something from Microsoft.

Yeah, but I really don't know why. Some time ago it worked great.
