History of slavery in China dates back to 1800. In 1906 it was abolished by the then ruler. However, it was re-introduced in 1910 and thereafter by the Chinese Communist Party when it swept into power. They introduced the labour camps also known as prison labour camps. The World History of Slavery has a very long historical facts of slavery all over the world. However, there was no mention of existence of slavery in Tibet until its occupation by the Chinese Communist Goverment. The Chinese Govt. declared 28th March 2009 as "Serf Emancipation Day" in Tibet....meaning...they liberated Tibetans from slavery. This video is in response to their distorted story of so called slavery in Tibet by hiding their own practice of mass slavery including Child slavery in whole of Modern China.

  • Dear friend, thank you for your comment. You have mentioned that the sad story of modern day China has nothing to do with Tibet. Chinese leaders propagade slaver in Tibet before the occupation. I am trying to educate the public that Chinese leaders finger point others rather than protecting its own people. This type of behaviour is not acceptable. Pre-occupation Tibetan siciety was not perfect. But there was no "slaver".

  • this is such bullshit. You put a bunch of random pictures together that you say is proof of "slavery" but some of those pictures are just pictures of villagers from poor villages. There are probably slavery in china, but same in every other country. No country can be completely free of slavery. However, slavery in china is not legal&not gov. supported. at 2:47, it says "police rescue child slaves". at 3:37 "police helps a sick slave ", which means the chinese gov. are trying to stop slavery

  • My channel is truthfully education in nature drawing the attention of everyone concerned about human suffering. The pictures that I used are from CCTV broadcast in 2008 they CCTV reported slavery in Shanxi Province. This is not my intention to criticise anyone but to educate the sufferings of our Chinese brothers & sisters. At the end of the presentation, I had requested to end slavery in China.

  • Dear Chinese4Humanrights,

Thanks for your comments. There was no "old feudal system" in Tibet. You have to research on this. The so called "old feudal system" was a creation of CCP to legitimise their occupation of Tibet. Please research independently.

  • old feudal system in Tibet was not really good but it's also not good how the CCP uses this to make propaganda.

Btw slavery exists not only in asia...

  • Chinese4Humanrights, The so called "old feudal system" is a dead matter for Tibetans. We are a fully democratic system in exile. No Tibetan wants the old systems whether it was good or bad. We are in the 21st Century and we are committed to democracy and will move forward. We do not want to go back.

  • This was the slavery scandal in Shanxi, which if you remember, caused outrage in China and was condemned by the (vastly imperfect) Chinese government. It has nothing to do with Tibet… at all.

  • @20097sam Are you fucking kidding me? China currently does not have the best government, but if China didn't do shit about Tibet, the Tibetan people would be literally slaves to the Dalai Lama... To name the least: China doesn't impose tax on Tibet, China pays for almost 92% of all Tibet's spending, and becaues of China's investments, the GDP grew well over 150%. So before saying ignorant shit like that, do some research

  • fuck the chinese

  • Great video!Great work to help chinese peoples from the clutches of communism.

Since centuries,Communist are the most dangerour system. To ensure their illegal rule they can kill as much ass peoples. they want

  • @maomao667 see you cant ask your brother can you.

  • @datzfast

    LOL

I know a lot of parents who have two kids, and they have never been sent to slave camp. So stop talking shit !!!!

  • @maomao 667 maybe you should ask your brother or sister, oh wait you cant lol

  • @datzfast

I am from China, I have never heard of this kind of law. That sounds ridiculous !!!!

  • @kelsangmetok

In 1963 HH the Dalai Lama presented a draft democratic constitution for Tibet.

In 2001 the first direct democratic elections were held by the Tibetan people for the post of Kalon Tripa (Senior Minister) in the history of Tibet.

As the communist party shows no sign of going democratic in 2011 you could say that its more than 48 years behind Tibet.
