mainly the verse is A F#m D/C#
but on the original record the guitárs are tuned to D# not to E

john power not powers as you said was never silent, far from it, and as far as mavers is concerned he never disapeared, he jsut chose not to make any more albums at the time because he didnt want to sell himself out, he is a genuis, but it is pretty obviuos from your point tha you dont really know much about the la's,
