Ok, this is what happens. Kovu and Kiara have 2 cubs, the 1st cub is Sainbra an adventerous cub, a year after another cub is born; Teefu, he is a very playful cub. After nagging his parents to go and explore he spots a lioness cub called Elsa, he has a crush on her and talks to her, later she has to go so they say goodbye. Years later Sainbra and Teefu grow up. Teefu and Sainbra are talking when they hear a voice calling for Teefu. It was Elsa! They jump around in excitement leaving Sainbra wondering what on earth is going on!
