Are you sure that it's a metal body ? Seems that it's plastic for black version and metal for others... thanks.

and lcd display pixels are higher
3x more zoom
and 1cm macro vs 3cm...
but does that really matter?
i mean zoom is not always required, and whatever the lcd display is, actual result which we see on computer is same of both .....
and i admit the macro capability improvement...
and does these little adjustments make 230 a better camera than 220??

hi! i compared this model with the next 230 HS and found 220 to be the winner..... can u guide me?
the only feature is 8x zoom in the newer version else its same... am i right?

@akvmusic The mic is pretty good, if you are not happy the only way is to use something like a Zoom H1.
