The Mob Goes For a Drink, with 1940 Chevrolet

This is a 1974 High School student film by Charlie Klesse, as a spoof of gangster movies. In the movie are Mike Phaffenbach, Mark Burke, Russ Deubler, Karl Burke, Ed Light, and Rich SantaColoma. The car is Rich's 1940 Special Deluxe Chevrolet, and the bar/restaurant is the Muscoot... owned by Mark and Karl's mother. It was filmed on super-8 Kodachrome. Later it was transferred to video, with sound added by the video service. I then made a video copy in the early 1980's. This is a copy of that copy, digitalized with the analog input of an Everio hard drive camcorder... so it is fourth generation. Sorry for the resulting lack of quality... but it is amazing it has survived!
