Here is a great program by a company named Rational Craft (www.RationalCraft.com) I heard about their product via Jason Fried's (37Signals) Twitter Feed.
After downloading their program, I had to find my Wii Remote's Bluetooth MAC ID. I did this by pairing with my Mac first and then looking at the discovered information.
I then unpaired it from my Mac (as suggested by Rational Craft), ran the program and punched in the found Mac ID. (Make sure to click out of the last box as their software registers your input text only once you've left the box.)
I then hit discover.
At this point, make sure the Wiimote is turned off as it directs you to press the buttons 1 and 2 simultaneously to enter discovery/pairing mode.
It takes about 1 minute for it to pair and connect. Give it 1 minute to fully attempt connection. It looks like their algorithm connects on its second try.
Later on, I had to use a measuring tape and figure out which co-ordinates to enter into both configuration screens. Once all is set correctly, it works pretty nicely. I'd give it an "Alpha" release title as I think that's where it stands.
Oh, I almost forgot. It checks your Movies folder for files to play. As I had none, I downloaded their sample from YouTube via 3rd party software. It's low quality but it did the trick. I had mine encoded in MP4.
It looks cool and feels cool and it is completely Geeky. Reminds me of the TED video I watched of Johnny Lee a few years back.
Looking forward to seeing future technology being more aware of us and our surroundings.
Great job, Rational Craft.
