@MrDamienbell Weight always means something, both form and weight clearly matter and multiply one another.
We don't necessarily know which muscles this guy is trying to target. While I agree this weight's probably too heavy for him to row supine, this is obviously more than a shrug, even if he's initiating the movement that way and that the move is probably closer in effect to a shrug than it is to a fully prone row.
He would still hit lats/rhombs/traps in the movement though.

He is bent over you retard lmao. Mr.Damienbell .....you must be a very little dude with very little lifting experience judging by your excessive reply's. you do not know anything.
-
@MrDamienbell im not sure if youre aware but there have been many studies proving overload strength does not work...in laymen's terms...it basically makes you look like an idiot. However steroids have been proven to work well, hence ronnie and and jay. In what world does momentum count towards anything? partials arent shit, and this guy in the video aint shit!
-
@slimbw93 NO they dont, as I said Ronnie does do partials, but because hes bent over (which is what the exercise is called) hes getting way more back contraction, this guys just overloading his traps,
-
@tyciol Weight doesnt mean shit without form, U have to atleast be hitting the targeted muscles, this guy aint, bent over Rows is for Lats rhomboids middle traps, all this guy is doing is shrugs coz its way too heavy for him to row.
-
@justinp766 Your the idiot, read the title.... BENT OVER ROWS.... In order to do that you must be BENT OVER!!!! All hes doing there is a trap workout!!
-
Bend your knees man your gonna injure your self really bad
-
@wubs23 it's not that much weight, this ammount is probably good for working out your lower back if you can concentrate on it safely. I used to do back extensions with a 35 kg dumbell to my forehead, and thanks to that, I never used a belt for anything, even for squats with 150+ kg. Never got hurt either, not my back anyway
-
this is 4 years ago, im sure he has it figured out now. calm down
-
its not horrible form you idiots......he is using a hook back like all great powerlifters.
your back looks rounded. this is not good.
i might be wrong because i can't see it that well, but if it is drop some weight and stretch your back (not overstretch) or you will ruin it completely.
