  • @whirlpoolzend Pam Ayers, was that the one where Stephen Fry told Johnny Vegas that his dream meant he was gay?

That was a reference, I'm sure, to an earlier episode where he revealed the truth behind the panellists' dreams.

I got into two other shows recently, The Chicago Code and Blue Bloods, both cop shows.

I quite like the two of them.

Do you watch 8 Out of 10 Cats?

    That's pretty funny.

Make that video, then tell me when it is made because I have a terrible tendency to just forget stuff.

  • @bobomcgraw Qi is the bollocks, by far my favourite program; come to think of it I did see that episode.

I saw the episode with Pam Ayers's debut just recently. She's the funniest female they've had on.

I'll have to take some video of some of the bird life around these parts Wedge Tail Eagles included (you'll see them just about every day- big bastards)

  • @whirlpoolzend Qi, why are cats comparatively comparable whereas dogs are distinctly different?

    watch?v=65rqNVEy75Q

    It's the first question asked.

It's surprising the things you don't notice until someone points them out to you, no matter how obvious they seem afterwards.

  • @bobomcgraw ha ha! Although as you'll know man plays his 'hand' in their breeding.

Interesting how dogs are far easier to genetically manipulate than cats... and how many generations does it take for a pink pricked eared pig to revert to boar like status?

A question for Dicky Dawkins I suppose.

  • @whirlpoolzend Is natural selection asleep while all this is going on?

  • @bobomcgraw You must keep Persians... although technically speaking I doubt if they are actually cats, more like imbecilic Gremlins.

Persians relish the chance to run out in front of a car at the first chance you give them, catch alight by an open fire and burn to death whilst still asleep or jump from a 4 story building and land on their head.

Mind you, they don't mind being dragged around by their tails by toddlers... actually purr closed eyed during the experience.

    I shit you not.

  • @whirlpoolzend That sucks.

Some animals, as much as they love being out just do not have the common sense that I would trust to leave them there.

We have a cat who really wants to go outside, but the problem is if he goes out he will not come back in.

He managed to get out once a few months back and was gone for days.

We only got him back in because we cornered him in the garage.

We had another cat, about a month before that, who went out and was soon hit by a car.

  • My son in law’s canary escaped the other day and just as happy as he was inside his (outdoor) cage hung around the house for days. His song remained unchanged, singing away gaily, getting matey with sparrows and oh those vain attempts to re-enter his ‘home’ - where two morose budgies sat indifferent to his efforts.

He’d also wake me at 5am – not a bad way to start the day I might add!

And then, one morning at about 5:30am I heard the sound of two kookaburras.

    The bastards had eaten him.

  • @citizenkong I think there was one sneaking up on the birds in the first clip.

He then just sits in the grass, on the right, and stares at them.

  • I can hear a frustrated cat.
