  • Fantastic era and products. WIN WIN

  • In Australia, an ad like this would have left the nation in stitches. Root, or to have a wildroot is Aussie slang for sex.

  • WOW.

What's crazy is I think we've just gotten too sensitive and we take everything too seriously and that's why we don't have commercials like these.

  • I use wildroot and I am 20 years old, now I feel so old ._.

  • When I was a kid, I'd sit in the barber's chair, getting my hair cut, and I'd look at all the bottles of gunk he had on his counter. I'd see Wildroot, but I always wondered what it was for. That line about it not being greasy was wrong. Vitalis, Brylcreme, Groom n' Clean, and Wildroot were ALL greasy, to an extent. In the early 60s, my mom would put something called Hair Slick on my head. After the stuff dried, it felt like I was wearing a crash helmet.

  • That's what was the fashion back then. Vitalis was another product...and Brylcreme.

  • i use wildroot hair gel and sometimes the hair dressing but not the original one. i use the more creamy one that come on a glass pone.

    Wildroot rules. lol'z

  • Sorry, but a greasy haired guy whistling at me...
