Reyes did screw up here, but at least he's aware there's a distinction and is not in a position of responsibility for soldiers' lives. Bush had no idea there was a religious divide of sunnis and shi'ites in iraq, and therefore probably the entire middle east. Starting a war and uprooting people's lives without realizing the significant historical differences and conflicts that affect those people is just plain criminal.

So, according to Jeff Stein, this S. Reyes is dedicated, concerned, and serious. Did I not hear "incompetent", too? Well, indirectly, to be sure. I can only hope that when John R. Carter, R-TX 31st, gets booted out, he takes this Far West Turkey with him.

Democrats are so clueless in fighting the war on terror - they even voted against a bill protecting patriotic Americans from lawsuits when they report suspicious activity, like Muslims chanting 'Allah' or praising Osama on planes. Democrats are dangerous for the United States, but pretty darn good for terrorists.
