Disregard that comment; my information was out of date. There were issues with SPSS on OSX but they were resolved with updates.
SPSS version 20 runs very well on Snow Leopard and Lion.

I heard that SPSS/PASW doesn't run very well on on Snow Leopard. Is that true?
I'm taking Introductory Statistics and only use Mac.

Good Vid! but remember people, you cant confuse 'cause' with 'correlation' ;) Higher literacy rates don't necessarily cause a higher average life expectancy.

@rippinskid Absolutely correct! The nice thing about the data set is that it includes a broad range of variables (like income and health among others) that can help explain the most like spurious relationship between these variables. What would be even better is time series data to check for cross-lag correlations.

@zargey Thanks for your email. Unfortunately, I don't think I can offer help with assignments. On the other hand, if you have a general question, I might be able to offer some suggestions. Please let me know.

@MrKingPin360 Hmm... well, YOU certainly don't, if that's what you mean. The program runs the same on Mac and Windows and these tutorials should work for both. As for ME, well, that's a whole other issue, isn't it? Happy computing!
