...but at the moment it doesn't really matters because my windows system crashed, I've lost the cd, have to boot Linux by cd( only have the opensuse on cd), can't install the ubuntu on my harddrive because it needs a new driver to even see it, stuff like that

Yes! The program is the Compiz.
It's an OpenGL compositing manager that use GLX texture from drawable for binding redirected top-level windows to texture objects. It has a flexible plug-in system and it is designed to run well on 3D graphics hardware, most notably NVIDIA cards.
