This video shows our trip to Pearl Harbor in Hawai'i.
Pearl Harbor is the US Military Base that was attacked on December 7th 1941 by the Japanese imperial forces.
The Arizona memorial marks the resting place of 1,102 of the 1,177 sailors killed on the USS Arizona during the Attack on Pearl Harbor.
The actions of this day forced the US to join World War II.
Also here is the USS Battleship "Missouri" - WW2 ending here with the formal signing of the "Instrument of Surrender" on September 2, 1945, in Tokyo Bay by representatives of Japan and the Allied Nations.
This site is a very nice place to visit.
There are plenty of visitors from all over the world that visit here including the Japanese.
It is a peacefull and sad place to visit and a must for anyone visiting Hawaii.

  • awesome Job! i will never be able to see the Pearl Harbor Memorial and to watch this video was truly awesome i have watched other videos but this one shows some amazing things great job to the camera man love the detail of the images i seen is truly incredible thank you so much for posting this!!!

  • @osti321 Yes ! The ship was fully fueled and armed... So still tons of oil inside the fuel tanks.... I agree this is a part of the history and a tomb for more than 1000 sailors but in one day, because of the rust, that oil tanks will blow and it will be an ecological disaster there... They should pump that oil from the wreck.... I think the spirits of the sailors who are still trapped inside will understand and they let the navy divers to extract that oil... God rest their souls !

  • @osti321

The oil is weeping from the oil bunkers in the Arizona. There are still tons of oil. There is quite an ecological concern because one day due to corrision the tanks will rupture and spill thousands of gallons int the harbor.

  • This really is a good video, thank you for sharing.

    Thumbs UP!

  • I was there several years ago and noticed something - if you look close enough at the hull of the ship on the right side of the memorial (towards the bow), you can see a spot where a torpedo pierced the hull of the ship.

Such a haunting place. I plan on visiting Pearl Harbor again in my lifetime.

  • oil circles on the water are from sunk ships during attack on pearl harbor ?
