Jungle Xin Zhao: Patch v116

I originally recorded this for personal reference, but after watching Stonewall's latest jungle video for Xin Zhao I was struck by the large difference in security between his DPS setup and mine. While leashing mitigates this somewhat, being able to end a jungle run with equivalent speed and full health seemed a notable milestone.

Beyond Runes and Masteries there are two other large differences. I take Three Talon Strike first, as with proper execution it's effectively an instant double attack every 7-9 seconds (a benefit mathematically equivalent to 15% attack speed on its own) and the three strikes themselves are innately faster. Second, I try to avoid using both Three Talon Strike and Battle Cry at the same time, as the cooldown reduction only works after Three Talon Strike is finished.

Taking Audacious Charge instead of a second rank in Battle Cry is about 5-10 seconds faster.

the point is you dont lose the gold from buying the hp potions with stonewalls run because of the starting item. thats why it is better than this,

Stonewall took Cloth Armor + 5 Pot in his Xin Zhao (rebirth) video posted a day before this one, which is what I was responding to. Vampiric Scepter builds/routes are another subject entirely.

Though it's nice that Xin now is a viable jungler, I can't help but feel a bit sad I won't be allowed to play him much at mid anymore.

There's still a strong case for Xin mid. With this round of buffs his ability to be a strong laner is back, he just can't chain stun auto-win invincible 1v1 the way he used to late game.
