This song is so special to me so I wanted to share it with you all! :) I know it's kindof loud when I hit the high notes.... sorry! It's not my best of this song but I did it in one take. This song was on my first CD "The Gift" at age 12 but I sound much different now than I used to.

Alzheimer's is a gradual and fatal brain disease. My grandfather died of Alzheimers on April 1st 2008 at the age of 73 after suffering with it for 11 years. It is the 6th leading cause of deaths in the US, and every 71 seconds, someone develops it. There is a high chance that you or someone you know will get Alzheimer's in their lifetime. So let's do something about it before it affects too many people and their families! PLEASE visit www.alz.org to learn more. Sign up and become a Champion and help spread the word to reach the goal of 5 million Champions. You can do anything to help: donate, participate in the annual Memory Walk, host fundraisers, and so much more. Help your community in any way, and spread the word about this disease. Thank you guys!
-xoxo Molly

  • (btw this is a girl on her brother's account) I think you are well suited for songs like this rather than pop songs like jonas brothers etc. just remember that you cant be nervous to sing higher notes... its a natural instinct to tense up but just open your mouth wider and let it go. and also, i know you say things about your training, which is probably opera but you still have to sing from your diaphragm and push the sound out loud and full. other than that great job i think this is your best!

  • wow, that's probably the greatest comment ever! like in terms of criticism. haha. i really appreciate it. yes, i am trained in opera but i don't necessarily enjoy singing those types of songs because i don't feel i can relate to them. i'm actually more into the colbie caillat style of singing, i just haven't posted videos of that stuff because i've been so busy, so that's why there's only jonas brothers stuff =/ but again, thank you so much, and i really really appreciate comments like this. :)

  • Molly you have such a beautiful voice! You really have a gift.

And I know how you feel... my grandpa recently died of alzheimers too... over the summer... ='[

  • thank you so much! :] :]

and yes, it's so hard. this song is so special to me because of him. it's great to have someone to relate to.
