Was at this show at the old Arena in St. Louis....1982. April Wine opened for Eddie Money (huh?)....and absolutely BLEW E-Money off the stage. Bought an unofficial Wine concert t-shirt out in the Forest Park parking lot from a guy selling shirts out of his car.........for $6! I wore that shirt until it tattered into a dust rag. One of the best shows I ever saw at the Arena....can still smell the buzz wafting through the air.

Mercer is just an awesome drummer. Can hold a beat for hours.
Goodwyn is a musical genius. I'd put him right up there with "Mutt" Lange. For some reason they never caught the real BIG break. Killer rock band that many missed during the 80's.
April Wine would make U2 and other more popular "main stream" pop music bands look like a beginners!

Another excellent Wine song that was over looked. April Wine - the most underrated hard rock band in the history of rock music! I guess they were not 'evil' enough for the 80's. Thanks again the1extremist, good to see hard core Wine followers in the States.
