maybe the other breast is for another child. like if the mother has two babies (twins), or a newborn and a 2 year old who wants to nurse as well. i think i saw that in the babies documentary with the mother in Namibia

I nursed all three of my children for what it considered a "long" time. My mother nursed me for 3 years... I used to ask for "nursie milk" and we still all call it that :) Your baby still looks very young. Your breasts will adapt to the feeding schedule soon enough and so much won't come out of the non-nursing breast... just like leaking subsides after a while. Good luck... he's beautiful!!

If the milk comes out of the other breast too, it is probably meant to feed an older sibling.... I would guess :-)
