So just because Nintendo made Smash Bros, nobody else is allowed to make a collaborative fighter for all eternity? I think most gamers are forgetting that art and media is influenced and inspired by other art and media around them. Get your collective heads out of that "Everything is unoriginal and boring" box, and realize that nobody is obligating you to go out and buy any of this.

Well, the original SSB separated itself by adding game elements not found in Capcom's VS games. Stuff like four human players can play at once in one arena, etc. When you look at SSB, it's not identical to Capcom's VS games. It has the same mechanic, but how it was implemented and how new stuff are added made it stand out. This, on the other hand, is well, a blatant rip off of SSB.
