"Red Hill Mining Town" cover

Bono of U2 is one of my main influences vocally. This song on 1987's "The Joshua Tree" was originally going to be the album's second single, but they went with "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" instead. Unfortunately "Red Hill" has stayed in the shadows ever since. I wanted to try speeding it up and making it grungier. Sorry, no drum vid this time, since the drums are mostly loops anyway. As always, these are the real takes.

Really good cover.The vocals are spot on and Bono is a difficult singer to cover this well, hell U2 rocks and so do you.I've been a musician and in working rock/blues bands for 18 yrs,and do appreciate you're talent.Also your recording sounds well mixed & tight.
