will Battlefield 3 be the same as Bad Company 2?

I hope not. Videos so far show Tank gameplay in Battlefield 3 similar to Bad Company 2. The infantry has new elements like bi-pods on weapons and attachments for guns like a flashlight...could be useful, or just a gimmick. Hopefully there will be additional features to vehicles, and Jets will not be too overpowering. So what do you think-will Battlefield 3 be different? Leave comments below.

Agree'd 100%. The DRM alone is why I won't be buying this game.

But the horrifically glitch-tastic beta and BC2 gameplay aren't boosting it much. Unless the single player is amazing and uses a completely different system, or another maps with vehicles improves the game, I have approximately zero faith that BF3 is any different than a horrific mash-up of BC2, CoD, and a dash of poor old BF2.

Guess what? It feels and done worse than Bad Company 2. How so? I'm very disappointed with the Beta and I can expect it to have similar outcome in the release version. I mean come on... more DRM? Web Interface to pick a damn match? Similar looks of a bad company 2? Have to readjust the display every time I pick a match? I knew I was right, EA always will release a crappy games(2010 and beyond). Like how they screwed up Crysis 2...

@0433722159 wrong, BC2 used Frostbite Engine 1.5, BF3 uses FBE 2.0 which means a slight improvement in graphics, nothing special

they said they made the frostbite engine from scratch, so its going to be different from MOH and BC2

maybe on consoles unfortunately,don't get me wrong bad company 2 FOR THE CONSOLE was an awesome game, don't understand why pc fanboys wanted the bad company series considering it was a console exclusive game...but nonetheless it was still a good game deserved to be enjoyed by everyone. however it is not a true battlefield sequel, and seeing battlefield 3 lets hope they live up what a battlefield game really is.
