Shore Line East trains 1632 and 1679 in Clinton, CT. 1632 is pushed by GP40PH-2 #6694, and 1679 is pulled by leased Amtrak P40 #824.

Sorry about the occasional shake, I was working without my tripod. Next time...

  • beautiful picture!!!!!! love it!!! but why would anyone stop in Clinton, lol it's not too great,... i'd know... =\

  • I was in Clinton for the Westbrook (a town or two over) Fife & Drum Muster. And I managed to get my parents to let me stop off at the station for half an hour or so. I'm looking forward to next year too; hopefully I'll be able to stay for a lot longer this time; I missed 4 trains walking there and heading back, so I know I'd get more if I stayed longer.

And I'll bring my tripod next time too!

  • I love those GP40's. But they really need to fix the breakes on those passenger cars.

  • I love those GP40's

  • Nice! The braking sound is like death though!
