Oral cancers are not very common, and they are more associated with poor oral hygiene than tobacco use. (Including chew) Nicotine is addictive, but it is not an additive, you imbecile. And since pipe smoke is not inhaled, the addiction process doesn't happen.

Lot of good Tobaconist in Chitown and NYC. I noticed your technique is a little off. Your first light is to just char the first layer of tobacco, then you take that pipe tool you have or a finger and lightly press the tobacco down and then relight. If you take a puff and you have to suck to hard, that is because U packed the tobac too tight. Most times u can just run a pipe cleaner through and loosen it up. Good to see a female pipe smoker, don't give up.

Pipes are mostly named after their shapes; that's a Canadian I believe you have. If you have access to a good tobacconist, that's the best place to find good tobacco and cigars. My favorite blends are mostly Virginia Flakes or Virginia Roll Cakes, they mostly come in small cans, called, "tins." For me, I think Mcclelland makes the most tasty blends, try Dark Star, Christmas Cheer, and St. Jame's Woods. Macbaren Dark Twist and Club Blend,also good. You sound like you are from Chi or NYC.
