The extreme psychedelic experiment continues: Paintings in Motion - A Summer Ending:
It's a summer ending, the all-too-quick jump to the next season. And while fall in the Midwest is beautiful it ultimately leads to winter, death and cold. (It is amazing how quickly the weather changes after the calender flips to September, just mere weeks ago we had extreme heat, now it's already fall and there's talk of frost overnight!)
Here's some video that I recorded along Lake Michigan on our last hot day in August toward the end of the month. We spent the afternoon on the causeway that goes about a mile or so out into the lake and hugs the marina; we watched all the different boats floating by, dotting the horizon all up and down the coast (they call it a 'lake' but it is so vast that it is really like an inland ocean), and the various birds and aquatic life. It was a clear blue sky day, and while it was hot there was a nice cooling breeze off of the lake (amazing what a difference a month or so makes!)
I edited the video with my usual psychedelic interpretation (the sun face is an image I've had for awhile, it's a picture taken from a very old building in Colorado and again psychedelicized) and mixed it with more of my improvisational (i.e weird, rambling) music.
