Classy lady and an engaging interview, however I have always had a bit of a a problem with trans who ultimately declare that they don't consider themselves gay tho oftentimes they've benefited greatly by having used the gay community in all sorts of ways as their biggest support system all throughout their transition. It just kinda comes off as disrespectful to me.

Its a little hard to wrap ur mind around, but I am beginning to understand that some trans dont consider themselves gay because they have ALWAYS identified with the opposite sex. So in many of their minds, they have always felt female, so its not gay. Its a bit confusing, but I still consider that gay, because I still look at a person as what they were born as period.

This is something I guess I don't understand I am a gay man that has sex with my partenr that I have been with for 5 years that makes us gay but this transgendered woman says she has sex with her partner yet still is pre op but says she doesn't consider herself gay. I think once again religion has screwed alot of gay people head up I'm sorry but that's gay not hetrosexual. I will never understand this its two males in a relationship how do she not consider herself gay?

Hmm this is different, my life experience shows that nobody hates on transgendered people ( fuck my spelling ik )well a tleast people mature my high school seems to accept it easily and i havn't heard a single thing towards tg people ( btw i has tg friend ) And he/she whichever you prefer is actually the coolest friend i have. But ill admit things do get awkward

@H8RbyN8URE Great comment but I think you have it backwards when it comes to Trans benefiting greatly from the Gay Community. If it had not been for the Transgender Community taking a STAND in 1969 at the Stonewall Inn in NYC, there wouldn't be a Gay Movement or Gay Rights, so really its the GAY, Lesbian & Bisexual Community who OWE the Transgender Community their Gratitude because They STARTED IT ALL!
