What is born of the flesh is flesh and what is born of the Spirit is Spirit ( Gospel of John Chapter 3: verse 6 ) and you can see from the comments already written here which ones are which . Brainwashing and religion ( however sincere ) are both things that are born of the flesh.. and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ followed by water baptism ( not christening ) are both things that are born of the Spirit of God and will take all of us who choose to do them into everlasting life with Him !

Baptism FOLLOWS Salvation! Acts 2:38 says "FOR the remission of sins", the word "FOR" here in Greek is EIS which is translated "Because Of". So you are baptized because of the remission of sins, which comes from the shed blood of Jesus Christ alone!

I dont know what that is but... Acts 2:38 says Repent and be baptized for the remission of sins... also Peter tells someone in Acts "get baptized wash away your sins" Also Romans says baptizim is taking upon Jesus' death as your own, (new birth) also Necodemus was told to "be born AGAIN of water and of the spirit" born again means that he was aready born once... then he says of water and of Spirit.. water i believe to be baptizim makes sense to me.. I'm just quoting The Word man

It's a faith thing, not a religious thing. It's hard to explain. Faith has life in it whereas religion by itself isn't really anything of any worth. Meh.
