@hellome290 Your a moron...Ruth had good speed, steal base?? when you out homer entire teams...you don't need to steal base. Ruth was a decent defender in the field, and a great pitcher(witch was his true position)how does him not playing with blacks not make him great exactly? last time i check...in baseball its all about the pitcher and hitter, "PITCHING" has been dominated(even after integration) mostly by white player...so Ruth face 90% of the best pitchers of his era retard.

@hellome290 Btw...Lou Gehrig hit 4 home Runs in a single game, as i said...i cannot put a man who only played 5 years ahead of men who played there entire career's(almost for some)and accomplished similar or better feats to Reggie's, and while he was a good player for the Yankees, there are others that belong on the list ahead of him.

@hellome290 No, but did Reggie out homer entire teams like Ruth did? or Have a 56 game hitting streak like DiMaggio? did he play in 2,130 consecutive games like Gehrig? did he win 7 championships 3 MVP and triple crown like Mantle? or 10 championships and 3 mvp like Berra?? did he hit 3000 like Jeter? there are a lot of Yankees that have done amazing thing, the difference is they played the majority of there career's with the Yankees, i cannot put someone who only played 5 year. over them.

Mickey Mantle better the Lou Gehrig?? your nuts, Gehrig is second "ONLY" to Ruth, no other Yankee on this list can hold his jockstrap...i disagree with your top 3. 1.Ruth 2.Gehrig 3.Mantle or DiMaggio depending on who you talk to 4.DiMaggio or Mantle 5.Berra 6.Ford 7.Jeter 8.Rivera 9.Dickey 10. Lefty Gomez that's my list(Jackson didn't play long enough as a Yankee to make my list) the top 5 IMO cant be touch.

mariano rivera should be ranked higher than jeter mo is the best closer EVER. in the postseason and the regular season and lou gherig is better than mickey mantle. he delivered every game even with broken fingers and a lot of other injurys and his legacy would be even better if he didnt die from lou gherig disease
