Glenn Beck Racist Controversy - Beck Suspended

Glenn Beck, a host for Fox News, called Obama a racist. Now, Glenn Beck's comment has led to a controversy that has led to Beck http://www.sodahead.com/question/584811 being suspended. Beck's racist comment about Obama has so far led to 36 companies withdrawing from sponsoring Fox News' Glenn Beck segment.

If one were to go by this definition of Racism; it appears to me that the US (and European culture) are the biggest rasist ever. Just look at you history books and the distruction of native people and cultures all over the world. Read Jared Diamond', "Guns, Germs, and Steel; or John Perkin's Confessions of and Economic Hitman. Both white authors which tell a compelling truth about racism and racist actions on a gobal scale. Open your eyes to see the truth.

@AmericaWasteland The left really hates people with ratings that are freely expressing themselves. Unless of course, those expressing themselves are left. Now they try and sell the fact Beck has been fired. He lost 22% of his ratings because of doom and gloom forecast, yet he is still #3 in the ratings..The left is in total fear of a "Glenn Beck" that would expose them for the Marxist/Communists they have been all along. Norman Thomas said it years ago. Liberalism is just a kinder gentler term.

Glenn has an extensive support staff that finds the information using a myriad of sources not limited to news print, but the words of those he is opposing. The rest is based on what he has read as he proudly displays his sources on his show. Not that he hasn't been wrong, but I'll let you opine on that subject.

that would definately be a valid point on him if he hadn't taken back that theory of his that obama is a racist and publicly apologize for it, both on his show and on the o'reilly factor. what i dont get is when beck, who is essentialy a conservative, calls obama a racist, a hellstorm is risen, yet when a guy like bill maher says "if you're a republican you're probably a racist," then nobody calls him on it... am i sensing a double standard here?

HBCUs, which I assume you are referrring to, were created by educated black people to educate others BECAUSE OF RACISM and the fact that the majority of blacks weren't accepted to universities. Even to this day, there is still all white schools, get a clue.
