nicaragua : guasacate beach

this is guasacate beach on nicaragua's pacific coast. it is just north of popoyo beach, a popular surfing location. video was shot in sept 2011 and taken about the middle of this 1+ mile long beach.

guasacate itself is a beautiful hidden wonder in nicaragua. accessed via a 2 hour or so ride on dirt backroads, it is harder to reach than many other popular beaches. the break it fairly strong, so it is not an ideal swimming beach, but the ambiance of everything is A+
