  • @pinz2022 - That was N.D. Smart II (formerly drummer for Kangaroo and Leslie West's Mountain, among others) banging on the drums. (Notice while he's doing his fill, Ian's holding on to the edge of the drumset as if it would collapse on itself if he didn't.)

Incidentally, ever heard Ian & Sylvia's version of "Love Is Strange"? (The third version of that song on this clip: watch?v=V3BJ4ztVP9Q - suffice it to say it's - well, strange.)

  • sylvia was pretty damn hot.

  • @pinz2022 Hmm. Maybe he was on drugs? He definitely looked out of place in this musical environment. I liked Ian and Sylvia when they performed folk country music. I still like them when they performed at a televised reunion concert in 1986. Did you see their videos? The one with Linda Ronstadt, EmmyLou Harris, Gordon Lightfoot. Yes, I mean that.

  • That's the extraordinary thing about it. Ian & Sylvia were nice, safe folkies. This scorching, mushroom-fueled warbling rendition represents a total stylistic departure for them.

And who the hell is that buck-toothed inbred on the damn drums?!?

  • Que bueno DIOS !!!

  • great movie and good song, lots of talented musicians
