Just a personnel preference, I guess we usually fish waters where catching the same fish from trip to trip means we like to be a gentle as possible.

mate, a few of the shots included the Thredbo river ( i.e. discolouration of the water etc), am I correct??? the big brown raising, that didn't happen to be the Hatchery, thats why u didn't have a cast at it?

yeh that brown was down stream of the hatchery, but it was the day before the opening. it was one solid fish, looked more like an atlantic.
