Meeting the spiritual and temporal needs of others is a ministry of the Church. Catholic Charities advocates for the poor and marginalized, ministers to the sick and offers over 150 services at 60 locations serving hundreds of
thousands of people each year. As one of the largest social service organizations in the world, Catholic Charities in Cleveland has been the ambassador for Catholic works in Northeast Ohio for nearly 100 years.

The Annual Appeal will continue each year as a funding source supporting the operating needs of service sites.
Recognizing Rooted in Faith -- Forward in Hope as an extraordinary opportunity to improve and expand services, Catholic Charities will utilize additional funds to achieve initiatives above and beyond the capabilities of the Annual Appeal:

• Supporting our neighborhoods through facilities acquisition in Cleveland, Lakewood, Elyria, Lorain and Akron
• Villa Camillus nursing home acquisition and upgrade in Lorain County
• St. John Medical Office Building purchase and renovation
• Medical services for the chronically ill
• Renovation of St. Augustine Manor

The continued improvement and expansion of Catholic Charities, services through these acquisition, conversion and renovation initiatives will help to maintain a Catholic presence in our neighborhoods and more effectively
assist the people of Northeast Ohio.
