  • Wait did you say it's bad to be set-up on the balls of your feet?? And you should be set-up where then? Everyone who has ever taught golf always said to be off the toes, off the heel, and on the balls of your feet.

  • @TheMiraclePoop Yes, and they are wrong. Setting up on the balls of the feet moves the primary balancing joint from the hip to the knee. If you try and rotate on the ball of the foot in the downswing you can destroy your knee - ask Tiger. When the weight is shifted to the ankles the body can rotate on the hip as it is designed to do.

  • @cquinton

So how exactly do you go about shifting your weight to the ankles, like what would that feel like. And are you saying the inside or the outside of the ankles?

  • @TheMiraclePoop Visit the website. There are nearly 200 instructional videos on there that will answer all your questions in detail.

  • You can't compare a one a two plane swing. They are different. Some of your info could be quite confusing to an amateur as not everyone is orthodox! Lots of your info is 2 plane info yet you seem to claim it as 1 plane?

  • @cquinton Hogan was on his heels--balanced. Toes were free to wiggle up.

  • It doesnt matter what the swing is like, the only thing that matters is the path a foot or two before the ball and after. Aslong as the path is good and club head is fairly square or square.

  • Why are nearly all instructional videos a conparison with Tiger Woods?

Agreed the guy is was world number 1 for years, but his swing is not the most orthodox or "complete" swing on the tour. Wood´s success came from the ability to control the other players mind not with ball striking but with his "status" and mental, there are very few players who had the mental strength of Tiger. Remember Tiger lost his No1 status because he injured his knee, caused by his swing and the force he put on his knee

  • @TheMiraclePoop you're wrong...are you going to tell me Butch Harmon, best golf instructor ever is wrong??? he wrote an article on how the balance should be...."obviously through the ankles" no you are WRONG

  • Hi Chuck, I am a baseball hitting instructor who teaches rotational hitting. I advocate using the right arm/shoulder, as the stride foot is coming down, in order to to get the upper body to be in the proper position to be in a maximum load position. This theory seems unorthodox to people when I try to explain it, but I have had very good results with this fundamental. There's is much more to my instructions, but I find it interesting that you advocate a similar teaching in golf.

  • Ricky is a great player despite his quick swing. Golf is a game of confidence and he has confidence. His tempo is similar to Olazabal and Nick Price. Tempo is why his swing looks different because he lags the club both directions. He is great at impact which is all that matters.

  • is it true tat rickie fowler has a very weak grip? Or no?

  • @TheMiraclePoop feeling as tho your knees are moving together toward the target...try to video yourself and study yourself
