This past July 4th, saw one of these driving on the streets here... managed to get a photo with the camera phone... of course it's street legal, to whoever asked that question... and who cares what kind of mileage it gets... it's the coolest car EVER. "Not practical"? Again, that is not the point. There is only ONE point... COOL.

@Davejf27 The ORINGINAL Ford Futura was a 1955 concept car and 1 company is using the LINCOLN model chassis to make the 1960's BATMOBILE Repli-car. Most people have already made a 1980's KNIGHT RIDER Pontiac Repli-car alot easier (Cheaper) than what this Batmobile vehicle would cost...EVERYTHING would need be fabricated from scratch,not like how everyday junk items was converted as useable props on those British 1960-80's sci-fi Doctor Who shows ! Thats main problem with USA producers,screw CGI

The original was based on the Lincoln Futura; a concept one off sold to George Barris who then created the Batmobile using it's Chassis and body parts, therefore a true "Replica" of the original Batmobile could never be made, as a kid it was my fantasy to own the Batmobile when i grew up...this is a fantastic replica and the lucky owner gets to live out his childhood fantasy lol, I bet that took ages to build.
