Well, like Tom's says... It's the gentlemen's choice. More torque, more refined and more value for your money. In this case, i'm taking the Lexus over the BMW, that's for sure.

miles better looking than the bmw the sport model has a better gear box and gives it a quicker 0-60:)

I fucking love lexus and their hybrids but I'm kinda desillusioned after driving in passenger seat an LS600h.

I mean the car drives like.. WOW... it's fuel efficient.. it looks AWESOME. But I have to say.. If I were to spend 150k on a car I wouldn't like it if it was filled with plastic like the 600h.

Can't believe it's actually true.. western european cars have the nicest finish in the world.

That 2.2 D4D is surely a good and reliable engine, but 4-cylinder diesel engines have very dull sound and IMHO just don't belong to a luxury car. An another problem is their policy to not offer an automatic transmission for diesel ones "because Europeans prefer only manual". This isn't the BMW killer, unless there is a bigger 6-cylinder diesel with automatic tranny available.
