Halloween 2007

This is a fun, video trailer I put together for a short film I'm making for my friends about a great Halloween Party/Haunted House my friend put together last year.

I'm not thrilled with the music, but I like the titles. I watched David Fincher's movie, SE7EN, for the amazing, opening title sequence, then tried to replicate the gate weave, scratches and film burn for the titles.

The closeups of the guys face/fingers are of me. I got surprisingly-good results with an older Sony TRV950 miniDV camera. Magic Bullet's "Look Suite" effect did a great job of giving me a gnarly, look, particularly with the finger tips.

It was a good exercise for getting familiar with After Effects.
