More than 3,000 people flock to Savannah's Forsyth Park to take part in the annual Buddy Walk, a fundraiser for the Lowcountry Down Syndrome Society, which helps families of children born with Down Syndrome. The effort was aided by dozens of Georgia National Guard soldiers and other troops, who gathered at a base in Kabul, Afghanistan to do their part.
Thanks to the 48th Infantry Brigade Combat Team's Public Affairs Office and DVIDS for providing the footage and interviews from Afghanistan.
