The board doesn't always completely fit reality, it is however a very good sketch of what would have happened, would the 4 Nordic countries participating in 1978 boycot the contest.

  • Ireland released their televotes after the contest after the Russians complained - whilst there would have been some changes (like Russia finishing ahead of Belgium, for example), Turkey would still have won.

    As for the Maltese thing - the result would have been the same, just known earlier.

    ok, cause if they were treating to pull out it would have being interesting to see the outcome .... but there was nothing wrong about that year.

    interesting to see is what would have happen if Ireland would have used televoting in 2003 like it should have being, or Malta voting in their place rather than last or some other things that should have happened but was altered due to circumenstances
