Ouch! This NASA video is soooo good! Too many videos of the STS launch sequence are diminished by silly narrations of imbecilic remarks from Launch Control...e.g. "Fluff."

The technology and trained personnel speak for itself. I think that the whole project is degraded by the Mr. Rogers-esque comments made usually at tower clearance!

I've always loved watching the Space Shuttle launches. I've never seen it like this before. Very well done!

@HardManAndres The E T is jettisoned about 8 1/2 minutes after blast-off, it burns up in atmosphere.

At 3:41 the water is cooking out of the foam at the aft end of the External Tank....see all that steal coming off! Charred aft dome shown at 8:44.
