  • its not just the USA its the global banks that are the masters of war, these spooks should get it straight

  • The sound quality on this isn't brilliant, but what the Roots did really was. The incorporation of the national anthem, Taps, Machine Gun, and even You Dropped a Bomb on Me, was (I think) a clever and inventive way to capture renewed sentiment in a time of a brand new unpopular war.

  • what song is the riff @4:15 from?

  • @MichaelBallack91

It's poignant. It's dynamic, creative, and well-performed. It's performance comes at a time when kids need to hear this song more than ever. They present it in a way that today's attention-deficit generation can follow. It's on time. Dylan reinterpreted his music over and over and over, experimenting with form and process. Why can't they?

I have many opinions that people disagree with and respect for those that do. However, I feel strongly about this performance. Sorry.

yeah because anyone who disagrees with your opinion is a dumbass. Good call. I don't like this personally, it sounds too cheesy. I get what they were going for with the anthem thing, but I really didn't like it. I don't think this song was meant to be taken lightly. It's like Ballad For a Thin Man...it has it's own dark rhythm and when you mess with it...you get this. But it's your opinion, and you're entitled to it.

  • this ruined a classic

  • nah can't say I care for this cover very much.

  • I really can't like this enough. I like this enough to cancel out all the dumbasses that could ever dislike this video.

  • Yeah. They're pretty much IT.

  • THEY COVERD THIS BETTER AT BONNAROO 2007 :) Captain Kirk soloed running down a alley that split the crowd in half as the tuba player followed. !!!East Coast!!!!
