Cambodia: Shop & Make Someone Happy

Everything, and I do mean everything, was so inexpensive in Cambodia -- if not downright cheap -- that it was impossible to resist. Sweet, persistent adults and children selling Kramas (a Cambodian scarf), clothes and little handmade toys.

Our Explore group happily did it's utmost to shop until until we dropped or had enough Kramas to supply a neighborhood store. But I still felt like a criminal whenever I refused someone. They need the small amounts of money so badly...

What do you think of what you see over there ? does it suprise you when you see young children doing what they do to survive ? instead of being in school ? You can help by asking our government to do something about it. thank for sharing your video.

I completely agree with you. It's heartbreaking and we did our best to buy as much as much to help them out. I wish my government would listen to anything I say let alone any other government. Thanks for commenting.
