No. Just... NO. Please, please please... first vampires, then werewolves, then aliens... oh my god this woman will never stop until she's ruined every mythical creature out there. Once again, watch her leave out logic and lore and history of the creature and mess everything up again. This woman just can't write any form of fantasy without messing up. Please, Smeyer, PLEASE do some research and actually put some effort into the plot and characters if you're gonna do this...

I'm not a fan of mermaids but I'm sure however she ruins them, I will never look at my childhood movie the same again. It's bad enough I have a disgust with Vampires now.
