One of the best tunes ever.

I used to hear it on the 1050 Chum AM oldies back in the early nineties and this was the kind of songs Lightfoot had been writing since the late sixties and this one is among his best romantic ballads he's written. He was more than just a protest singer.

It's been nearly 40 years since I first heard this song... and I still love it as much today as I did that first time hearing it. And it still brings tears to my eyes when I think of the woman I once sang it to... because we're still friends today and she's just as beautiful today as she was 40 years ago.
