[Violinist] Chingiz Osmanov
PROFILE. Chingiz Osmanov, born in St.-Petersburg, Russia in 1982, began studying the violin at age of five.
He graduated top in hisclass, the Special Musical School of the St.-Petersburg State Conservatory under Maria Slavutskaya.
Now Chingiz is Saint-Petersburg Conservatory post-graduate student in class of Peoples Artist of Russia,
Professor Mikhail Gantvarg; artist of ensemble the Soloists of St.-Petersburg.
In 2005 he took the special prize For the best performance of a virtuoso composition on the 2nd Jasha Heifetz International Violin Competition in Vilnius
and 2nd Prize on the Maria Yudina Chamber ensembles competition in St-Petersburg.
In 2006 Osmanov Chingiz took part in Keshet Eilon Master Courses in Israel, where he studied under maestro Shlomo Mintz.
Also he has participated in several master-classes with Professors Shmuel Ashkenasi, Salvatore Accardo, Maksim Fedotov,
Dora Schwarzberg, Boris Belkin, Akiko Tatsumi, and others.

"Gracias" in Spanish means, "Thanks." The Gracias Choir sings songs of thankfulness for the love it has received in its heart. The Choir's music has the power to change sadness to joy, deeply moving the hearts of all listeners. The Gracias Choir was formed in the year 2000, and each year it is changing and reaching new heights through new challenges and developments. Curently, through their work at Mahanaim in New York and the Gracias Music School in South Korea, they are broadening the scope of their activities to a worldwide scale.
