I don't eat at the university. Explain to me why performance reviews is not appropriate to determine raises.
oh, and by the way.... the reason EVERYONE shouldn't get the exact same raise, is because some workers might like to go "S-L-O-W".(especially if they know they have a raise comming regardless of how hard they work) Should they get the same raise as other people who pick up their slack?
or are you one of the people who like to go S-L-O-W?

If you work hard, then you get a raise! The workers who go above and beyond should be rewarded more than those who do the minimum.
CUPE workers who work hard should be in support of the university.
Maybe I'm way out on this, but that's how I see it.

I guess you are admitting you do a shitty job! If you are doing a good job there shouldn't be a problem with performance based increases.
