Olivia Chow, the federal Member of Parliament for Trinity-Spadina stopped by the booth sponsored by Wright Real Estate and Harbord BIA. Painting of the BMX park was a part of the display.In this video Olivia speaks with a youth graffiti artist doing his work on a piece of the BMX park. Olivia also speaks of her own art work, and the critical need for activities such as the BMX park to foster positive relationships between youth, their communities and the police. The BMX Bike park is a partnership between the City of Toronto Parks Forestry and Recreation, Toronto Crime Stoppers and the Argos Foundation Stop the Violence. Youth can use the park free of charge at the Wallace Emerson Community Centre all summer long. Graffiti artists wishing to paint can contact 416-374-3031. The BMX park will be featured by the Argos Foundation Stop the Violence in November, 2007 at the 2007 CFL Grey Cup celebrations at the Rogers Centre, Toronto, ON Canada
