This song has good smoke and Gonesh Sandalwood incense written all over it. I had the vinyl copy.

@finomhiphopandskate HAHA :D My older brother and I were just spittin' rhymes to this song while we were driving to my house. It really does work.

this would be perfect for a hip hop beat

@akibubba1 Funny story! What was the point of telling you to turn the music down when she was only going to hear it for a minute or two? Silly old thing.
It's a great track. :)

this is the best band to ever walk this earth. mikkb.morbid of canadas epitaph thank you for making my day
One of the great albums of all time. Heep at thier mystically heavy finest. I remember blasting a couple songs from Birthday at a traffic light many years back, and some prudish lady in a Datsun wagon next to me screaming at me to turn it down (but ,as Tap sezz,"These go go eleven", so I turned it up..) - anyone who could possibly dislike this song knows nothing about music or how to have a good time.

I listened to all their music in the 70's. To me apart from certain bands of the era, there is simpy nothing quite like it even now. They were and still are my all time favourite, I listen to their lyrics with tears in my eyes, incredible and yet so real even now. My word how people have aged and changed in time but one thing never changes that's music, it's an attraction that is certainly beyond physical
