  • Interferon treatment can kill pancreas beta cells and it may look like insulin resistance which is ''really'' now full blown diabetes because of the interferon mis-targeting HIV hepatitis virus and targeting cells of Langerhans. Glucose levels must be monitored at least by weekly when using interferon and or Ribivarin.
